When it comes to the NCAA, the action never stops, and the Transfer Portal is no exception.

The Transfer Portal has now slammed shut. According to USA Today’s Mitchell Northam, the NCAAW saw a decrease in players entering the transfer portal in 2026 (2,154) from 2025 (2,154). However, this did not star names making significant moves.

The question is: which players should NCAA fans keep a keen eye on when the season eventually commences at the end of 2026?

Audi Crooks: Iowa State to Oklahoma State

Heading into her senior year, Audi Crooks — among several other stars — decided that her future lies away from Iowa State, and she had to find pastures new to enhance her reputation.

During the 2025-26 season, Crooks showcased her offensive dominance for the Cyclones — averaging 25.8 points and 7.7 rebounds per game, while shooting a highly-efficient 64.9% from the floor.

Finding a team that could cover Crooks’ defensive frailties was hugely important to increase the 21-year-old’s draft stock. If Oklahoma State can be this team, only time will tell; however, teaming up with Notre Dame’s Hannah Hidalgo could have been a more beneficial option for Crooks.

Nevertheless, Audi Crooks has made her decision, and she is joining a very talented Oklahoma State roster coached by a very capable Jacie Hoyt, who will undoubtedly polish the star’s impressive skill set.

Liv McGill: Florida to Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State means business. The offensive combination between Audi Crooks and the talented guard Liv McGill could become one of the most feared throughout the entire NCAA.

Liv McGill does more than put points on the board; she is a first-rate ball facilitator who plays with a fire and tempo that will light a fire under her Oklahoma State teammates.

The former Florida guard is heading into the third season of her college career in tremendous form. Last year, McGill averaged 22.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game.

Not only did she put work in on the offensive end of the floor, but her 2.6 steals per game show that she has a two-way presence that will complement Audi Crooks’ weaknesses to perfection.

Aaliyah Crump: Texas to Duke

Out of the three selections in this article, Aaliyah Crump is the most intriguing. Joining Duke for the 2026-27 NCAA season could be a touch of genius for the soon-to-be sophomore guard.

Living in the shadow of the supremely talented Madison Booker, Crump had to settle for a bit part role during her freshman year — averaging 17.5 minutes per game.

However, under Duke’s brilliant head coach, Kara Lawson, Crump could emerge as one of the most exciting talents in the ACC.

Crump averaged 7.9 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game for Texas while shooting 41.1% from the floor. However, it is safe to assume the young guard will take on a larger on-ball role after Duke’s playmaking guard Taina Mair was selected by the Seattle Storm in the recent WNBA Draft.

One thing that will have to improve for Aaliyah Crump under Kara Lawson is her defensive nous. To play in this Duke team, you must strengthen their defensive structure, not weaken it.
