Nevertheless, Stanford’s Ebuke Okorie is making soundwaves that no media outlet can continue to ignore. The supremely athletic guard has an offensive skill set that countless NBA franchises would be keen to possess on their roster.

A career-high performance was the latest addition to a fine rookie year at the collegiate level for Okorie.

Stanford required a win to bounce back from four successive defeats that pushed their record to 14-9 on the season.

Fortunately, an Okorie masterclass and an efficient team effort allowed the Cardinals to walk away from their matchup against Georgia Tech with a 95-71 victory.

Ebuka Okorie undoubtedly turned in the greatest individual showing of his young career — recording 40 points, five rebounds, four assists, and four steals.

It was the aggressive nature of this performance that was so impressive for spectators. Okorie showcased his direct style of thinking, drawing fouls and finishing through contact. Stanford’s guard went 13-13 from the line on the night.

Additionally, the 18-year-old ended the night scoring 12-21 from the floor and draining 3-6 shots from deep.
