Rise 3×3 is back – hosting the United Kingdom’s first ever FIBA 3×3 Quest event.

After a well-earned break, Rise finally returns with the UK’s biggest 3×3 event of the summer – the Shoreditch Summer Slam.

Taking place on Sunday, July 6, the Shoreditch Summer Slam is a British Basketball Federation endorsed event that will see the UK’s most talented 3×3 stars face off as they eagerly attempt to book their place on the plane to compete against the world’s greatest players in the FIBA 3×3 World Tour located in Hungary.

With mystery shrouding the teams competing, one thing fans can expect is to witness the Rise 3×3 City League champions, the London Enforcers, showcasing their outrageous abilities on the court once again.

What is the format of the Shoreditch Summer Slam?

The one-day tournament will host 12 teams that will be desperate to qualify for the prestigious FIBA 3×3 World Tour.

These teams will be separated into four pools – in which they will compete to record the most wins and points scored.

Whichever two teams finish at the summit of their pools will book their place in the Summer Slam Quarterfinals.

Each team will then take part in a knockout format that will see squads ferociously battling to secure a place in the finals. A matchup in which jeopardy will peak as the stars will have the opportunity to cement themselves in Rise history and qualify for the FIBA 3×3 World Tour.

Where will the event take place?

It is that grim period of the year when the domestic game is currently in the offseason. However, fans should not fret as they will have the wonderful opportunity to spectate the Shoreditch Summer Slam in the flesh and dispel all basketball withdrawal symptoms.

The event will take place at the Montacute Yards in Shoreditch, E1 6HU. With games expected to commence at 1:15 PM, and the finals to be played at approximately 9 PM.
